Jordan MS5040 Portable Shredder

This portable Jordan MS5040 was recently rebuilt by the manufacturer. This rebuild included the following:

• New bearings, shafts, knives and fingers
• Rebuilt Dodge gear reducer
• New bearings on the motor
• New VFD drive motor on the trommel
• New electric control panel for the trommel
• New water system with new 3 phase booster pump for use in remote locations

Shredder is powered by (2) 200hp electric motors, 3 phase, 480 volts

There is a quick connect generator / electrical box with 50 feet of leads

Generator sold separately

Includes both infeed and outfeed conveyors

There is a trommel screen to make this a complete shredder system

Includes two (2) spare sets of knives that will need to be hard-faced and sharpened

• Knives were from Jomar and cost $38,000 new
• The cost to sharpen each knife set is approx. $12,000
• There is a sharp set of two-hook knives in the shredder box now

Trommel has two complete sets of screens; 2" and 4"

• Screens are currently removed because we are producing single pass product

This shredder is mounted on a 50 ton triple axle trailer with new wiring and lights
